The Best Sex Scenes of All Time
I’m a sucker for a sexy movie. Porn can be downright delightful, but when it comes down to it, I personally much prefer a well-done sex scene from a mainstream movie. You’re in a dark theatre with dozens of other people, knowing that a good percentage the other views are as aroused as you…now that’s steamy.
Some movies do sex scenes really well. Others do them really poorly. Personally, I prefer the sex scenes that are true to life without being too true to life. I want to see some great sex, but I don’t want any of the awkwardness that often comes with sex in real life. I just want to see a good romp.
So here, in no particular order, are my favorite sex scenes of all time. Feel free to leave a comment to add to the list. Is it just me, or is it getting hot in here? Pass the popcorn.

I am SO glad you included the sex scene from “Taking Lives” between A. Jolie and Ethan Hawke!! That movie is constantly left out of top ten best-sex-scene lists, and it’s always been one of my fave movie sex scenes. Another of hers that’s excellent is from “Original Sin” with Antonio Banderas… and segueing from that into “Desperado” with Banderas and Salma Hayek. “Unfaithful” is a classic go-to movie for steamy sex scenes. Bravo to you for this list, and extra credit for remembering the sex scene from “Swim Fan”. It was good, now that I think about it!
